The exterior finishes of the project consisted of a blend of EIFS systems, stonework, and were transitioned around openings by custom cast pieces of trim and copings. These were installed utilizing state of the art, motorized scaffolding ?Hecht" machines. During the entire period of construction, the exposed location of the project created an environment where the weather was consistently more extreme than the surrounding area. The need to closely and properly monitor and predict the effect of this upon the construction was handled by Killian?s decision to install on the project, a state of the art, weather monitoring and reporting system. This computerized system monitored and recorded to computer all significant weather parameters, allowing Killian to provide the project and the subcontractors "real time" access to this critically needed information.
