Help us in congratulating David B. for accepting a Senior Project Manager role here at Killian. David was born & raised in Sioux City, Iowa and graduated from the University of Kansas with a degree in Architectural Engineering, with an emphasis in Construction Management.
David has 17 years of experience in the Construction Industry, with 9 years at Killian Construction. He is experienced with projects in multiple sectors of Construction Industry including Commercial, Education, Retirement/Senior Living, Multi-Family, Hospitality & Residential, as well as a strong education & understanding of Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing (MEP) systems.
When asked what he enjoys most about his job David says, “Developing personal relationships with people (co-workers, colleagues, subcontractors, suppliers, owners, architects, engineers). Those personal relationships build trust and confidence needed to deliver projects successfully and perform at a high level. I also appreciate the technical aspects of the industry, getting to know the how and why things work or do not work. I really like to see that skill & knowledge come to life in the development and execution a well-prepared game plan and see it all come together as a finished product or project.”
